Lisa will travel up to 15 miles from the studio in The Woodlands, TX (near the Rayford-Sawdust exit) to take your portrait at no additional charge. For locations farther than 15 miles there is a $1.00 per mile travel fee round trip, from the studio to your portrait location and back to the studio. This travel fee pays not only for Lisa's gas and vehicle wear & tear, but also partially for her time driving, which keeps her from taking photographs during that time. To help you judge the distance, the following are approximately 15 miles from the studio: Interstate-45 & Loop 336 North in Conroe; half-way out FM242 towards Splendora & New Caney; FM2920 & Hwy 249 at Tomball; FM1960 & Hwy290; FM1960 & Hwy 59 at Humble; and I-45 at Beltway 8 in Houston.
Lisa loves to travel and see other places. If you want to have your portrait taken somewhere special that is far enough away to need to stay overnight, Lisa will be glad to accommodate you. There is no extra "fee", but she does ask that you pay travel costs and for lodging and meals for her and one assistant. This way you get to have portraits somewhere unique to you and Lisa gets to see some place new.
