Disappointed Mother Tells A Sad StoryThe phone call started innocently enough. But it was so obvious to me this senior's mom was very upset.
"My daughter went to another studio because it sounded like a good deal," she said. "The advertised prices sounded low, and the pictures in their brochure looked decent.
"But as soon as we got to the studio, things started coming apart. The photographer was over 30 minutes late, 'because,' he said, they 'always double-book sessions,' figuring that 'not everyone will show up' (this all-too common practice never happens at Lisa's Portraits Editorial.)
"Then we were really hurried through the session. I almost felt we were on an assembly line, like when we used to stand in line at the discount store for baby pictures. The photographer never once asked my daughter what she wanted. By using a special portrait camera that has the appropriate lens length and for the most flattering facial perspective, I will make certain you look good.
