You won't have a second chance to look so good. So it pays to trust this all-important portrait to the studio that gives you photographs you will be thrilled to own. . . in absolutely the most FUN experience possible. . . all with a risk-free,100% money-back guarantee.

Awesome Senior Photography

At Lisa's Portraits, we take most of our senior portraits outside of the studio. You can have your portrait made in any place within about 30 minutes of the studio near Rayford-Sawdust in The Woodlands, for no extra charge, that will show your personality or interests in a place that is special to you. You get to include your own "props" that will also help tell a story about you, like your: wheels, pet, livestock, boat, uniform, sports equipment, musical instrument, etc., you name it. You will be more relaxed and your portraits will better portray your personality than ones taken in a studio with the same props and background everyone else has in their photographs.

That may sound impressive but it's only important to you if it means a FUN portrait session and creative photos at an affordable price. You'll get all that and much, MUCH more.

Lisa's Dilemma Is Your Advantage.

Every senior from Houston to Centerville, Bryan/College Station to Livingston (and that's a LOT of seniors), have easy access to use Lisa's Portraits for their senior photographer. What that means is thousands of seniors are trying to schedule their sessions in the same fixed time, or less. Only those who plan ahead are going to get appointments. Read on to make sure you get your appointment.

We're not leaving anything to chance for an event as important as your senior portrait.

But Here's Where I Need Your Help

We have hundreds more seniors to photograph this year than last year and less time to do it in. That means we will have way MORE seniors than last year trying to schedule their sessions in LESS time. Only those who call early, will be able to be photographed at a time that won't keep them from missing school or after-school activities. That's why it's crucially important that you call right now.

A Disappointed Mother Tells A Sad Story

The phone call started innocently enough. But it was so obvious to me this senior's mom was very upset.

"My daughter went to another studio because it sounded like a good deal," she said. "The advertised prices sounded low, and the pictures in their brochure looked decent.

"But as soon as we got to the studio, things started coming apart. The photographer was over 30 minutes late, 'because,' he said, they 'always double-book sessions,' figuring that 'not everyone will show up' (this all-too common practice never happens at Lisa's Portraits Editorial.)

"Then we were really hurried through the session. I almost felt we were on an assembly line, like when we used to stand in line at the discount store for baby pictures. The photographer never once asked my daughter what she wanted. He used the same backgrounds over and over again (my daughter later showed me her friend's pictures from this studio they all had the exact same poses and backgrounds, too!)

"When she did ask about one of the backgrounds we saw in the brochure we got in the mail, she was told that those were stock brochures purchased from some national postcard company. The photos weren't even taken at that studio!

"I was asked to wait in the reception room while she had her session, so I couldn't be there to make suggestions, give my input or make sure her hair was right. I came along so I could sit in on the session, but they wouldn't let me.

"Almost In Tears"

"My daughter left the session almost in tears. She was sure none of the photos would turn out. And it turned out she was right; neither she, her father or myself liked any of them. I called the studio to complain, but they said if she wanted a reshoot we would have to pay for a new sitting! When I protested, they said unless I placed an order, my deposit and sitting fee would be forfeited.

"Feeling very frustrated, I sat down to look at their price list. Besides being very confusing (no one at the studio had bothered to explain it to me), the prices seemed a lot higher than those advertised in the mailings we received.

"As it turned out, the prices that were advertised were the 'stripped-down' versions: they didn't include any additional poses, a guarantee or anything. After adding in all those extras, the costs went through the roof.

Finally, A Breath Of Fresh Air.

"Then, last night, one of my daughter's friends came over with her portraits from Lisa's Portraits. I couldn't believe the variety! Her photographs were taken in several different locations and included her own belongings as props, including her horse and her car! And that's not all:

"She said she had a great time. Her mom got to be right there for her session and helped her with her clothing and hair. She said you really put her at ease, and your staff was a pleasure to work with.

"But what really knocked me out was when I compared price lists. I had heard you were more expensive, but you include all the extras that cost more at the other studio. When I totaled it all up, I was going to end up paying more for lower quality pictures I didn't even like!

"I've almost lost faith in (so-called) professional photographers. Can you help me?"

To The Rescue

As it turned out, the mother exerted herself and did get her money back, but only after repeated phone calls and a threatened lawsuit. And although this is an extreme example, I hear variations of this story numerous times each year.

(By the way, she and her daughter ended up coming to us for her portraits. "An unbelievable difference!" the mom said, "It's like night and day you are real professionals. We love our daughter's portraits. And the way we were treated. For what we got, you were a real bargain!")

Don't Let This Story Be YOUR Story!

Your senior portraits are probably the most important photographs you'll ever have taken. Certainly, they're much too important to take chances on. You don't want to go through the whole experience only to end up with pictures you don't like. And when you select Lisa's Portraits, you never have to worry. Here's why:

Reason #1: You Will Look Your Very Best.

By using a special portrait camera that has the appropriate lens length and for the most flattering facial perspective, I will make certain you look good. Only flattering light (even outdoors, which lots of photographers don't have any idea how to find) is used to let this professional camera capture your image in super high resolution, you could even have a 30x40" portrait.

With this special portrait lighting a unique combination of highlight and shadow will be used to accent your positive features, while downplaying the things you want to hide. Most people know that they have a better side to be photographed from. But did you know that you also will look better when the light is coming form a particular direction that is right for your features? I use this knowledge to make your portraits more flattering.

If you want, your images can be further enhanced with the use of a special soft-focus effect to tone down minor imperfections without that "over-fuzziness" so commonly seen in ordinary senior portraits.

The originals of the poses you choose to be enlarged can then be touched up by computer imaging artists to remove dark circles under eyes, remove stray hair, take care of those dreaded pimples, and many other retouching options, all you have to do is request it. Then all the finished photographs from these images will look fantastic.

Reason #2: You'll Be Totally Relaxed In Front Of The Camera.

The Eastman Kodak Company (you've heard of them) did a survey and found that most people hate having their portrait made. When asked why, most people said they felt nervous in front of a camera.

Not at Lisa's Portraits! When you have your portrait made in a location of your choice, you will be far more relaxed than if you HAVE to have it made in a studio. When I take your portrait you will be allowed to fall into natural positions, or if you need help you will be comfortably guided into natural positions instead of being grabbed and forced into awkward poses. If you have portraits made in my studio, the portrait lights are reflected through large diffusers which will make the lights be easier on your eyes and, even in the studio, you won't be forced into unnatural positions. If you have your portraits taken outside, the sun won't ever be in your eyes, so you won't be squinting and the lighting on your face will be flattering.

And most of all, by constantly talking with you, goofing around and making my incredibly silly faces and noises, I will help you smile naturally and even enjoy the portrait process.

Reason #3: Your Satisfaction Is Absolutely Guaranteed.

When you buy a pair of jeans, you try them on first to see if you like them. You test-drive a car or cycle before you sign on the dotted line. You hear the song on the radio or at the store before you get the CD.

Not so with senior portraits. You're asked to make a studio selection almost blindly, before you ever see your own portraits. What a drag! How do you know if they will turn out? And what if they don't?

At Lisa's Portraits, your mind is completely at ease because if you don't like your original images for any reason (and I do mean any reason), tell us before you order and, if we won't be able to make them EXACTLY what you want with cropping, retouching or printing, we'll schedule to take additional poses of those concepts to your satisfaction. No hassles, ever. We'll just do it. Or we'll refund your entire session fee PLUS FIVE DOLLARS!

And let's just say your finished portraits come back and something isn't right. The color's off slightly. A blemish wasn't completely removed. There's a teeny tiny scratch in the finish (all stuff that my staff of superstars looks for before your order passes inspection, but sometimes these things slip through). No probléma. Just let us know anytime (even six months or two years later) and we'll fix it for you. FREE. Again with no hassles. Even if it means having all new portraits made. (Hey, we're serious about total customer satisfaction!) Or, get your money back PLUS FIVE DOLLARS!

Plus: An Exclusive Lifetime Photo Guarantee

No doubt, you have baby pictures at home (either yours, your siblings or your parents) that may have some of the color fading. And if those pictures are snapshots, school photos or discount store pictures, you're out of luck. Those images are on the way out, and nothing can save them from further fading.

All portraits created by Lisa's Portraits come with an exclusive lifetime guarantee: If your photographs should suffer from discoloring or fading at any time you own them, they will be replaced. Free of charge. Again, without hassle of any kind.

We offer this guarantee, in part, because of the advances in photo technology that have helped make photographs more stable in recent years. Also, you'll go home with instructions on how to safely care for and display your portraits to minimize deterioration. But more importantly, in the unlikely event that something would happen to any of your images, it's nice to know that I just plain stand behind my work. Just as I have since 1981.

"OK, Lisa, So How Much Is All This Going To Cost?"

This is the cool part. At Lisa's Portraits, you decide exactly what you want in order to fit your exact needs and budget. You'll never be pressured into getting anything you don't want or need.

Let's say you need one nice portrait for your wall and some wallets to give away. Does that mean you have to get some minimum assortment with a bunch of additional pictures you don't need? No way. You have the complete freedom to get as many or as few as you wish.

Packages? You can select from one-pose packages or multi-pose packages from just $595 to $1920 that includes up to 24 poses for one 20x24" wall portrait, 4 smaller portraits, 80 wallets, a 24-pose folio for 4x5" portraits, a 16x24" 5-image digital collage, a 10-page 20-image coffee table book, a 10x20" 3-image Art piece, and a DVD Slide Show of all the images we show you from at your projection appointment from your session. Lots of Value!

Wallet portraits go from $15 each (no one really buys them like this) to $.88 each, depending on quantity, and most seniors get to choose more than one pose for their wallets, something you won't find elsewhere.

Free Extras You Won't Find Anywhere Else. At ANY Price.

Your portraits receive TLC hand finishing by our production experts who apply an incredibly durable acrylic surface that protects them from moisture and fingerprints (no need for glass frames unless you want matting too) and protects them from Ultra Violet Light (which causes fading.) Then they carefully mount them to sturdy art board or foam core to help them keep their lasting beauty up to five times longer than the "raw" prints you're used to getting from other photographers.

But That's Not All:

Your finished portraits are delivered to you tissue-wrapped and gift-boxed. Acrylic wallet boxes are included at no charge. Of course, a free wallet portrait will be sent to your school yearbook for the senior section, if it is allowed. And you'll receive a certificate for a free family portrait session you can use anytime through your graduation (worth $250).

Built-In Value

So you can see, you get much more than you pay for at Lisa's Portraits. Creative, unique photography in a fun and relaxed session. Unbelievable service and friendliness. Unmatched professionalism. Great savings and bonus values. A guarantee that won't quit.
