Fish or have a picnic, read a book, splash your feet in the water, or look out over the lake, there are lots of fun photographic opportunities. There is also a nearby playground.
The sessions are limited to ages 2 years and older. We do not want to lose a child in the water. If Lisa has never photographed your child(ren), we recommend that you meet with her for a free, no obligation planning consultation before booking.
Clothing suggestions: Boys and Girls are encouraged to wear summertime clothes: sailor outfits, bright summertime casual wear, bathing suits, cut off overalls, etc. Bare feet are great.

Cute clothing would be summer play clothes. To decide if you'll like the clothing, lay it out and stand back and squint at it. What ever stands out to you is what will stand out in your portraits. If you like it leave it, if not change it.
Don't forget -- watermelon drips! Plan on having lots of sticky fun and we'll have wet wipes, a garden hose, a big sink, and even a bathtub, for cleaning up.

Dough BabyWhat's cutter than a baby in a chef's hat? A dough baby! Sit him in or beside a kneading bowl with lots of loose flour, a rolling pin, a couple of bags of flour, and a fresh loaf of bread. Your baby will be cuter than the world's favorite dough boy.
Dough Baby portraits work best with babies who can sit up with a little help to about two year old toddlers.

The
basis for this Limited Edition Session is dressing up in grandmother's
or mom's or grand dad's or dad's old clothes.
Grandmother's Attic portraits will be done in our studio living room set. The decorations for the set will include old items such as a trunk, antique tricycle, hat boxes, dress form, etc. and accessorized with old clothes, hats, jewelry, dolls, teddy bears, fishing poles, photographs, etc. We will have on hand old dresses and slips for the girls as well as jewelry and hats. We encourage you to bring in your own props, clothing, or personal items as well. The session will consist of a variety of poses of the children dressing in dress up clothes and having a tea party in the middle of the set. Girls may paint their toe nails, put on gloves, put on lipstick, or try on high heel shoes.
Even though this sounds like a girls-only type of session, we expect a number of boys as well. They can dress in their grandfather's fishing clothes, their dad's football uniform or some other manly clothing. They can play chess or checkers with a teddy bear or friend.
Sessions will be 30 minutes long and we will take approximately 20 exposures. There is an age limit of 6 months to 10 years. The girls at least must wear a slip. Groups are limited to 2 because of size limitations and just too much would be going on in the session with more than 2.

Have
a tea party in our all white morning room. With white walls and
carpet, and decorated with Battenburg lace curtains, wicker chairs
and a Battenburg table cloth. Delicate flowered tea set or a shiny
silver tea service will adorn the table. Dress up your child(ren)
and bring along their favorite teddies or doll-friends and we'll
have a tea party.
Our table will seat up to three, so we limit this Limited Edition Session to three children. If Lisa has never photographed your child(ren), we recommend that you meet with her for a free, no obligation planning consultation before booking.
Clothing suggestions: Boys and Girls should dress up in their finest party wear, whether it be theirs, or old clothes of their parent's or grandparents's. For boys: you might add a bow tie and an old hat. For Girls: gloves and purses are a must and don't forget the hat and jewelry. We have some of these props, but bring your own to personalize the portrait. Also bring your own Teddy or other friends for the tea party.
