The Footsteps Program was created to capture your child & family's special moments, personality, and achievements.
The Footsteps Program is very flexible. There are no session fees (which pay only to have your portraits taken but not for any portraits.) There are no minimum or maximum number of sessions. There are no set intervals: you may have portraits taken close together, or far apart, or sporadically. You may take portraits for a short length of time, like a year or two, or for a long time, like until I retire. You may have anyone in the portraits: one child, all the kids, one parent with your child(ren), family, grandparents, cousins, best friends, or the whole extended family when everyone gets together.
Footsteps portraits are taken in any location of your choice, a location that will tell a story about your child or family. I will travel 15 miles from the studio at no charge. Farther than that there is only a small travel charge.
Your favorite portraits are then preserved and presented in a Renaissance Durapelle leather album that has a lifetime guarantee. All our portraits are also guaranteed, so these will be a treasure throughout your child's lifetime. Portraits for gifts, home, wall decor, and offices can be purchased from our package and individual portrait price list for 20% OFF. Additional portraits for your album or for Grandparent albums can be purchased at reduced prices.
You may start this program at any time in your family's life: during your first pregnancy, when your first baby is new born, or at any time thereafter, including when your last child is in preschool or is a teenager. You may even start it for your grandchildren.
I take as many photographs during the session as necessary to give you lots of good ones to choose from for everything you want to do during that session. It is only limited by how much your baby or children are willing to do.
I usually allow an hour for a session, so there is plenty of time to get a fussy baby happy, allow a child to play with something you don't want in the portraits until I can coax them to play with what we do want, change a diaper, feed a baby or child, take several different groupings or concepts, etc.
From each session you will receive two pages of portraits with the appropriate album page to be inserted into your album. A page of portraits can consist of 1-8x10, or 2-5x7s, or 1-5x7 & 2-4x5s, or 4-4x5s, all of different poses. So you may have between two and eight different poses per session in your album. If you desire more poses from a session to be in your album you may purchase them.
The Durapelle Leather portrait album cover which you receive with the Entry Fee for the Footsteps Program is available in Burgundy, Navy, Shiny Black, Matt Black White, Pearl, Ivory, and Sienna. The Album comes with a Life-Time Guarantee and is sold nationally, so if you move away you can go to another photographer who will easily be able to get pages and mats for subsequent portraits in your album.
Flexibility of the Program:
1. You may start the Footsteps Program when your child or children
are any age. Lisa photographed her baby when he was four days
old. You may wait until your baby is smiling around two months,
but babies are precious from the day they are born. We can remove
baby acne if that is a concern of yours.
2. Older children may join the program at any age, even teenagers
or grown children. We can get album pages for you to put earlier
photos in, if you desire.
3. An album may be for an individual child, all your children,
or for the entire family.
4. Anyone may be in the portraits: one child, all the children,
mom with the child(ren), dad with the child(ren), the whole family,
just mom and dad, grandparents, cousins, all the extended family
when you get together, even best friends.
5. You may take the portraits as frequently or infrequently as
you like. We recommend not going too long between sessions so
as not to leave an obvious gap in your child or family's growth
and development in your album.
6. You may have as many or as few sessions as you want over as
long or short a time span as you want.
7. You may have portraits taken anywhere that you desire within
15 miles of the studio (which is near the Rayford-Sawdust Exit
on I-45 in The Woodlands) for no extra charge. For father than
15 miles, there is only a small travel fee.
Footsteps Entry Fee: $170, which pays for the Durapelle Leather Album Cover and Name Embossing.
Each Session Footsteps Fee: $185, pays for two pages of portraits in the album. Each page can be either 1-8x10, or 2 different 5x7s, or 4 different 4x5s, or 1-5x7 and 2 different 4x5s. There are NO session fees. And the $185 fee is a discounted cost from buying the photographs and pages for the album separately.
