Take the portraits some place that is special or fun, like your yard, home, favorite park, or get-a-way location. Include any pets or props that will enhance your portrait or tell a story about those in the portrait.

These

a boy playing Cupid and a boy with his infant sister who is floating
in a cloud below him are just a few of the beautiful angel portraits
we have done in the past.
We will be taking the angel portraits in front of our hand painted floral background with clouds of tulle and pillars upon which a dove might rest.
Because of the unique nature of working with the wings and the time involved in an angel session we ask that you check with Lisa before actually booking your session to make sure your little angel will be able to keep our wings afloat. If Lisa has never photographed your "little angel," we recommend that you meet with her for a free, no obligation planning consultation before booking.
Sessions will be 45 minutes long and we will take approximately 20 exposures.
Clothing suggestions include white gowns, dresses, slips, or blouse & skirt for girls. White shirt and white or beige pants or shorts for boys. If you are having trouble with clothing please call us for help. Clothing of gold or gold accents are appealing also.

Tired of celebrating Santa Clause? Come Celebrate Jesus! This small version of Bethlehem will have a stable setting, a star, a manger with hay and swaddling clothes. You may bring your baby "Jesus" or use our doll. Your older children can be Mary, Joseph, Angels, or Shepherds. Or Mom and Dad can be Mary and Joseph.

White ChristmasThe White Christmas Limited Edition Session is based on children going to bed on Christmas Eve. A bed will be set up in our white window room, covered with a white comforter and piled with plenty of lace pillows. A snow-flocked Christmas tree adorned in glistening white candy canes and other delectibles will decorate the corner of the room. Children or families can lay or sit on the bed as they read "The Night Before Christmas." You can also look out the window in anticipation of Santa, gaze at the mystical Christmas tree, or nibble on Santa's cookies. Bring your own stockings or use ours to hang in anticipation on the iron bed frame.
Appropriate clothing for this set is all white or very pastel pajamas, robes, or clothing.
Sessions will be 30 minutes long and we will take approximately 20 exposures. There is a minimum age of 12 months unless accompanied by older family members.

We
have been most successful photographing children with their daddy
or grand daddy dressed in our Santa suit rather than having a
sometimes intimidating unknown real Santa for photographs. We
keep up the Christmas spirit by explaining to the children that
Daddy is going to dress like Santa for the photos or by letting
them watch Daddy put on the coat, hat, and beard. Watching as
the costume goes on helps little ones not be confused by the familiar
voice but the unfamiliar suit and beard.
The set for Santa's arrival includes a fireplace, decorated Christmas tree with packages, and a large chair. The mantle is supplied with hooks for the children's stockings. You can bring your own stockings or use ours.
A series of photographs will be taken of the children waking Santa, curled up in his lap reading, sitting in his lap, feeding Santa a cookie, and feeling Santa's beard. Children will get to sit in Santa's chair while he looks over the chair at them. Santa can even get on the floor and play with the children if he wants.
Sessions will be 1 hour apart to allow Daddy Claus a few minutes to suit up. We will take approximately 20 exposures. There is an age limit of 10 years, unless accompanied by younger children. Children can wear pajamas, or holiday clothing. If Mama would like to participate, we have a red gown and a white gown, or she can wear one of her own.

This Limited Edition Session is designed for the family. A Christmas tree decorated with gold and cream will fill the corner next to the cream colored mantle in our living room set. Cream colored stockings, unless you wish to provide your own, will hang on the mantle. Gold wrapped packages will abound under the tree.This set will be appropriate for very formal holiday attire but can also be photographed in semi-casual clothing.
We encourage the whole family to be photographed for Christmas at Home, though photographs of just the children can also be made.

This Session commemorates your Baby's First Christmas. It will be great for Christmas cards, gifts, and for your Footsteps Albums. Portraits will be taken with your baby in an oversized deep red Christmas stocking ringed by luscious deep red Poinsettias. The deep red will allow your adorable baby to be seen first and then the pretty red for Christmas.
Baby's First Christmas Sessions will be 15 minutes long and Lisa will take 10+ exposures of your little treasure.

Dress up your ghosts,
goblins, princesses, pirates, etc. and come play on the hay among
the pumpkins & scarecrow with a black kitty. Lisa will photograph
your goblins for free (almost). All you have to do is bring a
NEW toy that COSTS $40.00, or more (please bring the receipt showing
you paid at least $40), for Foster Children in the Houston Area.
You will receive a matted 4x5 portrait with a protective coating
in a stand-up mount ($68.00 value) from the photographs taken.
Here are the details: Schedule your appointment NOW for Thursday, October 30, 2008. Appointments will be scheduled every 5 minutes. Bring the toy to the studio on the day of your session and fill in the free photography form. BE READY FOR PHOTOGRAPHS WHEN YOUR APPOINTMENT TIME COMES. Please come dressed as this will speed up the process. We will take about 5 exposures from which you may choose your matted 4x5 portrait. You will be able to choose it about 10 days after the session.
This is open to anyone, so tell your friends to call for their appointment also. We want to give the Foster Children as many NICE toys as possible. We ask one small favor of you. Please be generous with your toys. These children, unlike yours and ours, sometimes receive very little for Christmas at all. When they do, it is always small. Please remember this when selecting toys. Here is a small list of some suggested toys: baseball bat, ball and glove, football with helmet and pads, dolls, stuffed animals, art sets, riding toys, books, balls, tricycle, bicycle, wagon, play dough, kitchen toys, train, etc., etc. Please select toys which do not require batteries. Just go shopping and see how much fun it can be, knowing how happy those children will be when Santa comes. You may have so much fun you will want more than just the 4x5. We can certainly handle that. Reorder prices will be at an even better discount than our prices for Limited Edition Portraits.
We don't mind if you don't purchase any other Halloween photographs. We donate our time and costs to this, regardless. But we do get upset when someone brings a toy that costs less than $40. Most Foster Parents can purchase the children less expensive gifts. The gifts you donate are given to the Foster Children by Santa. During November the Fall Colors finally peek out for a short time. This is a beautiful time for Family and/or Children Portraits and a very busy time for our studio. Book your appointment early to ensure a time that will work for you. We recommend taking Family portraits with Fall colors from December 1 thru December 5, 2008. We recommend casual clothing in medium or dark fall colors with long sleeves.
