1) Their photos looked like everyone else's or their photos didn't show their personality. I will create your portrait in your home, yard, favorite park, or if you choose, in my studio. The portraits can be created somewhere that makes a statement about your child or family's personality at this time in their life. I encourage you to include YOUR belongings as props. You won't have the same background or props as everyone else, instead your background and props will help show YOUR personality and give your portraits emotional meaning to you.
2) Their photos didn't make them look their best or show what they really wanted. I have a FREE, NO OBLIGATION, Planning Session with you where I go over all your options and help YOU tell ME what you are looking for and what you like. During the Planning Consultation we will discuss how you can portray the special things about your child or family and get what you want in the photographs. I will make suggestions to you on how you can look your best and ways to get what you want. I use many techniques to help people look slimmer, younger, have nicer complexions, and I can even remove glass glare in portraits. You will have an opportunity to tell me what will make your portraits have emotional value to you and be exactly what you want.
3) They aren't satisfied with the experience or with their photos, and they feel like they've wasted their money. If before the day of your portrait session you have a Planning Session with us, I GUARANTEE your portraits will meet or exceed your expectations. If, for any reason you are unhappy with your original images, just tell us when we are projecting your images for you (before you place your order.) Lots of times there are things we can retouch, crop, or do in printing that will make the portraits EXACTLY what you want. If not, we will schedule a time to take additional portraits to your liking at no extra cost to you, or refund what you've paid, PLUS FIVE DOLLARS! Plus, if your finished portraits don't turn out exactly as you thought they would, let us know and we will make them over to your liking, or your money will be refunded, PLUS FIVE DOLLARS!
And, our photographs are also covered by the Kodak Promise of Excellence Guarantee which in part states: If at any time during your lifetime you are unhappy with your portraits due to Kodak's product performance, new prints will be made at Kodak's expense.

If you usually DON'T LIKE YOUR PORTRAITS, be sure to let me know what you don't like BEFORE the portrait session. There are countless techniques and special methods which I can use to minimize many problems. This will save you the time and aggravation of having to have retakes or portraits you don't really like. The secret here to success is communication. I want to help you, and my objective is to create an outstanding portrait, which you will treasure forever!
4) They had to buy photos they didn't like or want, to get what they did want. We let you purchase your favorite poses in any sizes or quantities you want. You never have to have extra photographs or poses you don't want. During the Planning Session I will go over all of your package and individual portrait options. I will compare Individual Sessions to Programs. I will also show you how you can either get what you want with a package of portraits or by buying them individually or by mixing the two together to get exactly what you want.
5) Their baby or children had fake smiles or were scared of the photographer. I like to spend a few minutes when we are discussing what you want your portraits to be like just playing and getting acquainted with your baby or children. Then during the
session I play with them so they have a good time. That way, instead of having cheesy smiles or being scared, they are more relaxed and can have fun during the session, so they will smile naturally without being told to.
6) The photographer rushed through the session and the photographs suffered because of it. I usually allow an HOUR for a portrait session with a baby or child in it. This allows time for feeding, diaper and clothing changes, and other things that might sweeten a child's mood when necessary. In addition, toddlers have more of a chance to do what they want so they don't feel coerced, but happy. There is always plenty of time for your child to warm up to me, have a good time, and to get great, natural portraits.
7) The photographs were posed and looked stiff or fake. I don't pose people. Instead I allow them to sit, stand, lay, or hold their baby or child like they ordinarily would. This makes you and your family more comfortable so you look more natural. I will guide someone into a more flattering position if something looks awkward from the camera angle. But I don't insist on a pose that makes you look like me or all the other photographs I take.
8) The photographer had a nasty disposition or did not seem to like babies or children. I have always loved children and babies. My favorite portrait sessions are one which include babies and children, even if the baby is not happy and the child runs all over the place. I have lots of patience, so your
child can have fun and be himself and if your baby isn't happy there are plenty of chances to make him happy. I will make beautiful, natural, happy portraits of your baby, children, or family for you.
9) The Programs they offered were too rigid, or not for a satisfactory length of time or number of sessions. Our Footsteps Watch-Me-Grow Program is especially flexible. And our Baby's First Year Program is excellent for showing the physical and personality growth your baby experiences during his or her first year.
