Nine Problems Lisa Can Solve Concerning Your Baby, Children or Family Photographs

1. Our images from other places looked like everyone else's and they didn't show our personalities. I will create your portrait in your home, yard, favorite park, or if you choose, in my photography studio. Your photographs can be created somewhere that makes a statement about your child or family's personality at this time in their life. I encourage you to include YOUR belongings as props in your photos. You won't have the same background or props as in everyone else's pics, instead your background and props will help show YOUR personality and give your portraits emotional meaning to you.
2. What the other places took didn't make us look our best or show what we really wanted. I have a FREE, NO OBLIGATION, Pre-Portrait Planning Session with you where I go over all your options and help YOU tell ME what you are looking for and what you would like in your photographs. During the Planning Consultation we will discuss how you can portray the special things about your child or family and get what you want in the photographs. I will make suggestions to you on how you can look your best and ways to get what you want. I use many techniques to help people look slimmer, younger, have nicer complexions, and I can even remove glass glare in portraits. You will have an opportunity to tell me what will make your portraits have emotional value to you and be exactly what you want, not just pictures.
3. We weren't satisfied with the experience or with what we received, and felt like we wasted our money before we came to Lisa's Portraits. If before the day of your portrait session you have a Planning Session with us, I GUARANTEE your portraits will meet or exceed your expectations. If, for any reason you are unhappy with your original images, just tell us when we are projecting your images for you (before you place your order.) Lots of times there are things we can retouch, crop, or do in printing that will make the portraits EXACTLY what you want. If not, we will schedule a time to take additional portraits to your liking at no extra cost to you, or refund what you've paid, PLUS FIVE DOLLARS! Plus, if your finished portraits don't turn out exactly as you thought they would, let us know and we will make them over to your liking, or your money will be refunded, PLUS FIVE DOLLARS!
   
   And, our photos are also covered by the Kodak Promise of Excellence Guarantee which in part states: If at any time during your lifetime you are unhappy with your portraits due to Kodak's product performance, new prints will be made at Kodak's expense.
   
   AND, if you have us frame your portrait(s) before you take them home, we Unconditionally Guarantee both the photograph(s) and the frame(s) for Life!
   
   If you usually DON'T LIKE YOUR PORTRAITS, be sure to let me know what you don't like BEFORE the portrait session. There are countless techniques and special methods which I can use to minimize many problems. This will save you the time and aggravation of having to have retakes or portraits you don't really like. The secret here to success is communication. I want to help you, and my objective is to create an outstanding portrait, which you will treasure forever!
4. Before we started going to Lisa's Portraits we had to buy the pictures we didn't like or want, to get what we did want. We let you purchase your favorite images in any sizes or quantities you want. You never have to have extra photographs or images you don't want. During the Planning Session I will go over all of your package and individual portrait options. I will compare Individual Sessions to Programs. I will also show you how you can either get what you want with a package of portraits or by buying them individually or by mixing the two together to get exactly what you want.
5. At the previous studios our children had fake smiles and our baby was scared. I like to spend a few minutes, while we are discussing what you want your portraits to be like, to just play and get acquainted with your baby, toddler, or children. Then during the portrait session I play with them so they have a good time. That way, instead of having cheesy smiles or being scared, they are more relaxed and can have fun during the session, so they will smile naturally without being told to.
6. Some other places rushed through the session and the results suffered because of it. I usually allow an HOUR for a portrait session with a baby or child in it. This allows time for feeding, diaper and clothing changes, and other things that might sweeten a child's mood when necessary. In addition, toddlers have more of a chance to do what they want so they don't feel coerced, but happy. There is always plenty of time for your child to warm up to me, have a good time, and to get great, natural portraits.
7. At other photographers they were posed and looked stiff or fake, then we came to Lisa's Portraits. I don't pose people. Instead I allow them to sit, stand, lay, or hold their baby or child like they ordinarily would. This makes you and your family more comfortable so you look more natural. I will guide someone into a more flattering position if something looks awkward from the camera angle, but I don't insist on a position that makes you look like me or all the other photographs I take.
8. The person had a nasty disposition or did not seem to like babies or children, but not at Lisa's Portraits. I have always loved children and babies. My favorite portrait sessions are one which include babies and children, even if the baby is not happy and the toddler runs all over the place. I have lots of patience, so your child can have fun and be himself and if your baby isn't happy there are plenty of chances to make him happy. I will make beautiful, natural, happy portraits of your baby, children, or family for you.
9. The programs other studios offered were too rigid, and not for a satisfactory length of time or number of sessions. Our Footsteps Watch-Me-Grow Program is especially flexible.
